Technicolor Dreaming
A fun and color-filled color pencil drawing. This one was a blast to make as I allowed the random shapes formed by the scribbled lines to determine how the composition evolved.
One of my lessons in teaching design is that, as artists, we curate chaos. We take the visual cacophony of life, make order with the tools available to us as visual problem-solvers, and create something beautiful.
As this drawing evolved, it became evident that it was in a dreamlike dialogue with the other drawing, “Daydreaming.”
